Betzo
Overview
Worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer on Betzo, an online casino and sportsbook, from January to April 2026. Joined a large Vue/Nuxt codebase and closed more than 100 tickets in the first months. My work spanned user-facing features such as Lucky Pass, A/B testing and web-push infrastructure, a production knowledge-base chatbot, and engineering improvements to documentation and releases. The platform serves both web and Telegram experiences. The live website may be unavailable in some countries.
Key Features
Support Knowledge-Base Chatbot
Support questions needed faster answers, with a path to a human operator when automation could not resolve a case.
Built and deployed a production knowledge-base chatbot that answered supported questions and routed unresolved cases to human operators.
Reduced response time from roughly one hour to ten minutes.
Continuously Updated Technical Documentation
Frontend work depended on backend changes, making up-to-date technical documentation essential for debugging across the stack.
Introduced the team’s first technical-documentation system and automated its upkeep with Claude Code routines running every two hours.
Kept frontend-facing documentation aligned with backend changes and reduced cross-stack debugging friction.
Product Experiments and Engagement
The team needed to validate product hypotheses with real users and deliver features that supported ongoing engagement.
Built A/B testing and web-push infrastructure, delivered the Lucky Pass weekly-engagement feature, and worked with WebSocket and Server-Sent Events for live functionality.
Enabled experiments on real users and shipped engagement features into production.
Release Process and Shared UI
Release trains limited delivery flexibility, while shared interface components needed a consistent reference.
Introduced a micro-release process and brought Storybook into the UI-kit workflow. Used agent-assisted implementation, research and review while retaining responsibility for final code quality.
Shortened the release cycle and improved delivery predictability; closed more than 100 tickets during the first months on the codebase.
